Saint Jude is the Patron Saint of "lost causes".

People seek him out when they reach impossible situations. Saint Jude is regarded as the special patron of the sick, especially those whose cases seem to be helpless.

Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. His kinship to our Saviour filled him with joy. He had the ardor of holy zeal and love. He was ready to sacrifice and to suffer for the Master's sake. He wanted to tell all the people the truth about Jesus.

Feast day is October 28th
