St. Christopher is the Patron saint of travelers. Especially he is the patron of those who travel in automobiles.

Saint Christopher was a giant and very strong. He went to a river where many travelers came. He carried them across on his strong shoulders. Some day, he thought, Jesus Christ might come that way. Then one day a little boy came to the river. Christopher hoisted the Boy on his shoulders. He was very light. But as they crossed the river, He got heavier and heavier, " Who are you?" asked the giant. "I am Jesus Christ," said the boy. "You looked for me."
